Lovely looking pub inside and outside. Nice manager and staff. Had Sunday lunch, beef was advertised as cooked medium or rare, but was dry and over cooked. Roasties were also very dry (maybe frozen) or been cooked much earlier and reheated. Other veg was ok. Had prawn cocktail as starter, lettuce a few prawns (frozen) and rose Marie sauce, very average. Overall place was nice, food not so.
What can I say? The new home of the Dinosaur Steak! Lovey food, attentive service and always a great atmosphere!
Atmosphere very good. Friendliness and service first class. Buffet excellent. I recommend the Bell Inn. I am from N. Ireland and hope to visit again soon.
Now being run by someone who knows how to! I have only been twice. A bit on the pricey side, but back to comfortable seating. The trouble is you can't write a review without rating it first. With more experience I might give it four.
New management! New first class experience!We just had a lovely Sunday roast at the Bell Inn. Friendly service, tasty food, stylish yet cosy interior. This is a great country pub that is perfect for both familys and couples. Definitely worth a visit! Five stars!
