Great place in a great spot...no fuss or frills, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff.
Super lunch of the tastiest sausage and melted cheese in a granary sub roll, (OH had a white sub roll). Park in the C&RT top car park (long stay) and follow the signs to the bottom lock where you will find this super pub. After partaking of your refreshments, from a piece of cake to a meal, walk back to the car park by the other route. That way you can see the whole of the system and some great views.
Lovely experience. Situated right by Foxton Locks. Shop, cafe and pub. Very reasonable prices. Good food. Staff were so nice and helpful. Will certainly go again.
