Excellent friendly service. Arrived wet and soggy by cycle. No problem accommodating our bikes and attire. Thank you.
Small pub in the front with large function room at the back with another bar serving alcohol. They are offering a lovely food. Definitely recommend that place.
Nice enough. Bigger place than meets the eye. Staff were nice. Room mostly comfortable. Bathroom very nice. Mostly quiet - although can hear people in the cafe below. Only downside to the room was the bed - which was really lumpy turns out is a somewhat old spring mattress mounted on a wooden board (rather than slats). Restaurant is quiet and a bit soulless but food nice. Bar is busy. Overall a solid option in a pretty village .
We had a fabulous Sunday lunch in the restaurant. The food, ambience & staff were on point and we will definitely be back when we are in the area. This pub/restaurant has got it all right. The character of a village pub filled with locals says it all but then a great eatery at the back. Highly recommended
Remembering it's quaint location from years back I decided to head to it on a cross country journey for Sunday lunch. But apart from its location, the rest was a comedy. Food not served to the benches out front by the babbling brook (unless you want a 10 hot sandwich serving as 'takeaway' in a plastic container.... Really it's all about rich people happy to pay for fancy inside restaurant prices. There is a cafe out the back in a nice courtyard with friendly and helpful staff. Shame those from the Neville Arms couldn't communicate with them properly.A lovely location but Maserati prices.
