Appear to have been some criminal activity in the area. Parking pay-meter had been jacked. The online/telephone payment method is at best extremely slow (both methods)plus it charges 20% administration fee.The parking lot has toilets in reasonable condition. The alarm to the disabled toilet was actively going off. Police or is it community safety workers in the lot were playing game on cell phone and Facebooking!!!!Overall this parking lot is adequete, it offers a lovely approach from the upstream end of the locks
Fabulous hot chocolate at the cafe at the bottom of the locks. Really good lunch at the pub there. Very enjoyable.
Great place to walk. Lovely pub or tea room close by which are both worth a visit. The locks our managed by volunteers who do a fantastic job. Gets very busy during Summer months so may be worth visiting at a less busy time if you don't like lots of people around
A well maintained Car park. The table I reported as needing planks replacing has been repaired. The toilet is in good order. Although I always pay the two pounds parking charge plenty don't and I've never seen anyone checking cars.
Bit wet under foot following night of thunder storms. Lots of space with over flow car park. Toilets have hot and cold running water. Great value at just 2 for all day parking. Nice 10 minutes walk to the locks along side the canal.
