Great place for kids to play football etc on Saturday morning. Good for dog walking, picnics, etc. Cafe serving tea, coffee and hot snacks - bacon, sausage, egg baps etc.

This is a playing field, much used at weekends, and popular with dog walkers all week. Very convenient because it is close to town centre. Most dog walkers are responsible and clean up after their animals but, as always, there is an inconsiderate minority that leave it which is horrible for the young footballers on Saturdays.
Went for an event, the place itself was very nice and well kept but could do with more bins. We only saw one public bin which was overflowing and only one stallholder had a bin set out which everyone was having to use. Nice play area for children and a large space.
