Appalling service, call from 8:30 to get an appointment, wait in a queue and after 10 mins told they have no appointments left. Asked for an appointment the next day and told I have to repeat the same process, receptionist couldn't give a toss.I don't believe that in 10-15 mins they have filled every available 10 min slot throughout the day.It would be my second trip to the Dr this year... Who am I paying my taxes for?
Used to be a wonderful surgery until it changed to Two Shires. Hopeless now. Some receptionist and the nurses are pleasant and helpful, but generally the impression is given that The Practice is run for the benefit of the organisation, not the patients. Numerous rules, three week waits for GP appointments unless it is an emergency. Making appointments is a nightmare, even when the ICT systems have not broken down. This organisation has no idea how to interact with patients with mental health issues exacerbated by frequent errors and a generally rude approach to patients. Sadly, the time has come to steer clear of this surgery.
Always get to see someone within 48 hours of phoning. Friendly, helpful receptionists. Very happy. :-)
Getting an appointment can sometimes be tricky, but generally good friendly service. My spouse is with the other practice in Harborough and also suffers the same difficulties getting appointments . I would suggest that this is do to the services being stretched to capacity. All of the staff that I have encountered are friendly and welcoming, although I am more than capable of dealing with any that might not be.
After a long time I have today finally seen a doctor that listened and explained things. Very impressed.
